Michael Wahl, AIA
Michael joined h+ha in the spring of 2006 upon finishing his degree from Auburn University.
Michael is originally from Decatur, Alabama and has worked in Architecture for many years. During high school he worked for Underwood Associates, a local firm in Decatur for several summers; and upon entering Auburn University he continued expanding his experience working for Underwood during vacation breaks as an official intern.
While attending Auburn Michael collected a wide range of experience in many area of Architecture, but one in particular that interest him is urban design. Having taken several urban design courses during his tenure at Auburn, Michael attended the College of Architecture's Center for Urban Studies (Urban Studio) for his thesis year studies. While there, he participated in the master planning and redesign of two small towns in Alabama - York, Alabama, and Union Town, Alabama. These studies galvanized a longstanding love of design for large and small urban environments.
Michael also brings to h+ha a wide experience and expertise in computer applications, 3D modeling, CAD drafting, as well as photo manipulation and web design. Having begun to learn AutoCAD on Version 2.18 before entering high school Michael has used every major version released since that time.
